About the Startup Competition
Insight Innovation Labs Startup Competition is a yearly event held to celebrate the top digital health, drug delivery and medical device innovations. Nemera is hosting the 11th annual event (it goes to eleven) to support and grow the healthcare startup ecosystem.

Startup applicants will be vetted by a judging panel of industry business leaders, narrowing the field to ten finalists. These finalists will be invited to pitch at the Nov. event and compete for the cash and awards.
The event is a great opportunity to network with the larger healthcare startup ecosystem and get strong recognition and visibility in the industry. This includes:

Access to the growing network of healthcare startups and industry supporters including angel investors, VCs, strategics, top healthcare startups, technology transfer teams, and state/federal organizations.

Event was held on Nov. 29th, ten great startup companies presented to an audience of 100+ people. 1st place went to Endoshunt, 2nd place was PherDal, and 3rd place went to Madison Scientific. Congratulations to all the Startups and we hope to see you all agin next year.

Program Overview
In response to the highly successful events over the past ten years, Insight Innovation Labs is hosting the 11th annual Startup Competition. The Startup Competition will be held the week of Nov. 27th with the live event pitch on Nov. 29th from 5:30-7:30 pm. The top ten leading early-stage digital health, drug delivery, and medical device, startup finalists will compete for $20,000 in cash and prizes.
First-round startup competitors will be selected by a judging panel of leaders from academia, global corporations, investors, and community health organizations. They will narrow the list of eligible competitors down to the top 20 teams. The second round of vetting and review will identify the finalists that will present live in November at the Insight Startup Competition. Startups will provide a five-minute pitch followed by a five-minute Q&A during a private stream with the judges. On the merit of their live pitches, jurors will select the top three startups for cash and prize awards at the event.
On Nov. 29th, all ten will give a final five-minute presentation to the larger audience of the event attendees and judges. We hope you can attend this great event and look forward to seeing you in November.
